Hadi Choopan is quickly rising as a superstar in the Bodybuilding World. The “Persian Wolf” is a phenomenal 212 bodybuilder who recently dominated the Vancouver Pro in the Open bodybuilding division to win first place.
Well, this is an accolade many would dream of and he clearly earned his spot at the 2019 Olympia in September. But… the only problem is him getting a visa to come to the U.S.
This is due to a travel ban put into effect by Donald Trump in 2017, which denies the issuance of a visa to Iranian nationals. This ban was challenged by federal courts in 2018 to no avail and so it still remains in effect.
But the Mr. Olympia LLC is now working diligently to get the Iranian bodybuilder over to the U.S., although there are no guarantees at this point.

“The Mr. Olympia contest was created to bring the best in the world together each year to compete for bodybuilding’s most coveted title. As we work to grow the event in every way possible, this fundamental objective remains a priority.”
Well honestly, it’d be disheartening for Hadi Choopan not to be able to compete at the largest bodybuilding stage in the World, seeing as he clearly belongs there.
His fans will be hoping for the best and we’ll have to wait and see how it all unfolds by the time the Olympia rolls around. But either way, Hadi Choopan is a true champion with a lot of support behind him.
