Bodybuilder Hassan Mostafa wants to make a statement at his next contest. On Dec. 29, 2025, via YouTube, he broke down his 2,700-calorie full day of eating in prep for the 2026 Arnold Classic.
Mostafa’s potential was on full display the moment he earned his IFBB Pro card. His huge quads and arms gave his physique a proportionate look, helping him find success through the years. In 2025, he’s kept busy, setting his sights on a coveted Olympia qualification.
At the stacked 2025 France Pro, he secured fourth place with an improved package. From there, he competed at the Pharlabs Mexico Pro, but found himself again in fourth place. Aiming to hit the Olympia stage, Mostafa offered an inside look at his latest nutrition approach.
Hassan Mostafa’s Full Day of Eating Ahead of the 2026 Arnold Classic

Meal 1
- 2 scoops of whey protein (60 grams)
- Water
He started incorporating protein powder in preps, which he said has helped with bloating.
“With it, no bloating. Nothing at all,” said Mostafa. “If you have any issues with milk, I recommend trying a protein powder.”

“During this period, I decreased food. Of course, there isn’t much time left for the Arnold. It’s time to go hard now.”
Meal 2
- 60 grams of Cream of Rice
- Salt
- 20 grams of Peanut Butter
- 2 scoops of whey protein (60 grams)
- Water
Sometimes he adds stevia to his cream of rice, but he decided against it since he’s preparing for the Arnold Classic.
“I add four times as much water for the cream of rice. That’s 240 grams of water to get it right, sir. Stir until it thickens. Then put it in the microwave for one minute. You can add a sweetener, of course, a little salt,” he shared. “It has both fast and slow carbs.”
Meal 3 – Pre-Workout Meal
- 60 grams of Jasmine Rice
- 250 grams of Tilapia
Gut health remains one of Mostafa’s top priorities, and he notes that it has a major impact on his training performance:
“I’m the type, where if my gut is bothering me, honestly, I can’t work out too heavy. I might need to delay my workout 2.5 hours to feel comfortable. For a long time, before working out, I might eat a carb meal right before exercisising but now I have to have it an hour and a half or two hours before.”
Meal 4
- 60 grams of Jasmine Rice
- 60 Grams of Whey Protein
- Water
- 1/4 tsp of Salt
Mostafa plans to maintain this strict diet before traveling to Columbus, Ohio.
“Inake is decreased, and athletes cling to rice. They feel without that rice, their muscles vanish. Everything in the plan must be eaten, no more, no less.”
Meal 5
- 250 grams of Tilapia
- 5 grams of Olive Oil
To refuel after his workout, Mostafa stuck with tilapia, adding olive oil for healthy fats.
“Finished workout and ate my protein meal. Shake and 150 grams of rice. Then, took a 20-minute sauna.”
Meal 6
- 220 Grams of Chicken Breast
- 250 Grams of Sweet Potatoes
Later at night, he enjoyed his only chicken-based meal of the day.
“This meal has 53 grams of protein, 50 grams of carbs, 6.5 grams of fat, and total calories were 479,” he adds. “Last meal, and that’s it.”
Meal 7
- 60 Grams of Jasmine Rice
- 220 Grams of Ground Beef (95% lean)
He finished off with ground beef sourced from his local butcher.
“Very good for digestion, and it’s easier on my stomach. I get the type of meat that I have the butcher and I ask him to grind it so there isn’t much fat.”

Mostafa is making sure his diet is locked in throughout the entire prep. The 2026 Arnold Classic will take over Columbus, Ohio, from March 5-8.
