Jay Cutler discusses his top picks for the 2019 Mr. Olympia competition in an interview with Global Muscle Radio by MD…
“Roelly (Winklaar) and Brandon (Curry) look to be the front runners for the show… Dexter Jackson…William Bonac’s right there. But I think there could be some surprises in there too”.
Cutler mentioned that he had a good feeling about Steve Kuclo as well, but he thinks Nathan De Asha and Luke Sandoe could also place well at the contest.
“It’s really hard to predict who the top one is. But I would have to say between three guys and that’s Brandon, Roelly and Dexter Jackson.”
Now, Cedric McMillan received a special invite to the Olympia but Jay Cutler doesn’t believe he’d be able to crack the top 4 because he hasn’t had enough time to prepare for the Olympia. It’s a mental process and it just doesn’t seem likely at all according to Cutler.

“It’s a lot of mental preparation, it’s not just physical,” said Cutler. “We know Phil has the physical physique to do it. Phil not even at 100% I feel could win this competition. He’s not going to jump in last minute.”
“He wants that battle against Shawn Rhoden again and the best of the best.”
Watch the Jay Cutler’s 2019 Mr. Olympia predictions here…
Jay Cutler’s predictions are not far off if you compare them to how most people would see the Olympia placings playing out in September. Phil Heath and Shawn Rhoden are likely out this year so there are really only a few guys to choose from to win the Sandow trophy.
The 2019 Arnold Classic winner Brandon Curry, last year’s third-place Olympia finisher Roelly Winklaar, and 2008 Mr. Olympia Dexter Jackson are the next guys in line, with William Bonac thrown in the mix as well.
All of these men are capable of doing some damage and we’ll only know who looks the best when they’re standing on that stage in Las Vegas next to each other.
Who are your top 5 picks for the 2019 Mr. Olympia?
Pretty hard line up this year, but we will see what’s brought the day of. Because it’s the only day that counts.
