Following in the footsteps of a legend is no simple task especially when it’s the bodybuilding great Arnold Schwarzenegger. Joseph Baena has tall shoes to fill, which he is doing a great job stepping into. After working hard on his physique, Baena shared a post on Instagram showing off his incredible body with his father’s iconic poses.
Joseph Baena has lived in his father Arnold Schwarzenegger’s shadow his entire life. Baena previously shared during an interview with Bradley Martin that he pushes himself to live up to his father’s standards not because he feels pressured to, but because he is inspired by the man Schwarzenegger became.
Paving his own path in the realm of acting, Baena ventured into the industry, mirroring Arnold Schwarzenegger’s journey. Recognition came pouring in for his standout performance in the recent film Lava. Baena also underwent a massive physique transformation while working on his part in the action movie Call of Duty: The Last Airshow.
Joseph Baena Shares Striking Resemblance to Father Arnold Schwarzenegger While Replicating Famous Poses
Baena has yet to compete in bodybuilding and it is unknown whether he ever will but he is still dedicated to maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle. Joseph Baena can often be found in the gym working out with big names like Mike O’Hearn and Bradley Martyn, but still remembers when he wasn’t the fittest among his group of friends.
Although it took him until later in college, Baena found a passion for pumping iron and even developed an addiction to the gym. Having his dad, Arnold Schwarzenegger, there to give him tips, he quickly turned his body around and continued to improve his shredded physique.
In a recent post to Instagram, Joseph Baena showed off his incredible form while striking some of his father’s most renowned poses.
“Just another day in the office,” Joseph Baena wrote.
This isn’t the first time the “Austrian Oak’ look-alike has recreated his dad’s well-known poses. Previously, Baena left fans starstruck when he shared shots of himself hitting Arnold Schwarzenegger’s infamous bodybuilding poses including the twisted back double bicep. He also showed off his incredible barbarian costume that resembled Schwarzenegger from his 1982 action movie Conan the Barbarian.
While Joseph Baena may not be actively pursuing a bodybuilding career, his connection to the fitness community remains evident. Currently, Baena is primarily dedicated to securing significant roles in acting. While he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of competing, he is not inclined to participate in a competition as substantial as Olympia, at the moment.
