Bodybuilder Michal ‘Krizo’ Krizanek is almost ready to push his chips all-in at the 2025 Pittsburgh Pro. On April 15, 2025, he smashed an intense back and chest workout ahead of the event. He also discussed the lineup’s biggest threats and listed his top exercises for each body part.
Krizo aims to bounce back after a troublesome 2024 season. He took third place at the Empro Classic Pro behind Behrooz Tabani and William Bonac. His bid to qualify for the Mr. Olympia was cut short after he sustained a shoulder injury that required surgery.
Now fully healed, the Slovakian native plans to accrue some much-needed momentum. However, to lay claim to gold at the Pittsburgh Pro will be a tall task considering the stacked lineup, which includes big-name IFBB Pros like Derek Lunsford, Nick Walker, Martin Fitzwater, and Ugolnikov ‘Goodvito’ Vitalii.

According to Krizo, Lunsford, Walker, and Fitzwater are among the top favorites to clinch gold in Pittsburgh. He believes if all goes well, he’ll be within the top six.
“The biggest favorite is Derek Lunsford. Another favorite to win is Nick Walker. Martin Fitzwater is also in. And then it’s guys like William Bonac, Vito, and then there’s me.
So if everything’s alright, I should be within the top six. We’ll see how the peak goes. It’s the best of the best coming to Pittsburgh,” he shared. “And there’s a lot of prize money, even better lineup than at the Arnold Classic.

- Back — one arm on rowing machine close grip seated

Not only has Krizo been open about his training endeavors ahead of his return, but he’s also been transparent about his dieting program. Krizo recently walked fans through a full day of eating during prep, sticking to high-protein meals to retain as much muscle as possible.
