Men’s Open bodybuilder Michal ‘Krizo’ Krizanek is inching closer to his first contest of the 2024 season. In a recent YouTube video, Krizo walked fans through his intense chest and delt workout six weeks before aiming to defend his title at the annual Empro Classic Pro on June 16.
“It’s about six weeks out of the competition, Empro Classic in Spain is gonna be my first contest,” shares Michal Krizo.
Krizo was welcomed into the IFBB Pro League with open arms as notable bodybuilding veterans like Jay Cutler and Milos Sarcev immediately took notice of his potential. He backed up the hype in his 2022 Mr. Olympia debut, securing a respectable 12th-place finish.
From there, Krizo wasted no time asserting himself as a world-class talent. He entered and won the 2023 Empro Classic Pro dominantly, a showing that clinched him a coveted qualification for the Olympia. When it was time to test his resolve against the best in the world, Krizo showcased remarkable improvements, which led to a seventh-place finish.

Krizo attempted to earn his Olympia qualification at the 2023 EVLS Prague Pro last year but was out-pointed by Samson Dauda. With his sights set on the biggest show of the year, Krizo intends to qualify with a massive win in Spain.

Krizo has documented his bodybuilding journey for fans as he aims to secure this year’s Olympia qualification. He recently shared his 4,500-calorie full day of eating alongside his supplement stack. Given his dedication and consistency at the highest level, he could find himself pushing into the first call-out at the 2024 Olympia if he makes it to the marquee stage.
For now, his focus remains solely on outperforming his peers at the upcoming 2024 Empro Classic Pro in Spain. If he is unable to secure an Olympia qualification, Krizo will have until the September 15 deadline to guarantee his presence on the big stage.
