Nataliya Kuznetsova is a 28-year-old Russian powerlifting champion who recently ventured into bodybuilding. Yes, she takes steroids and she’s very open about it.
Her best lifts are a 385 lbs/175kg bench press a 617lbs/280kg squat and a 529 lbs/240kg deadlift, she is truly a beast of a woman!
At a recent FIBO event in Russia, Nataliya had a quick run-in with the bodybuilding legend, Markus Ruhl. As you can see in the Instagram post below, Nataliya justifies her “Amazonka”(the Amazonian) nickname pretty well as she easily rivals Markus in size.
Of course, Markus has not been competing for almost a decade and is 47 years old. However, he is still a mountain of a man and to even be able to come close to his size is an impressive feat.
Markus is no stranger to hulking muscles, as he was one of the biggest bodybuilders on stage during his competition days. He is quoted as saying “I don’t want to get fit, I want to have big fu*king muscles” and that he did have.
His best placement on the Mr. Olympia stage was 5th place in 2004, above him were bodybuilding “hard hitters” Dexter Jackson, Gustavo Badel, Jay Cutler and Ronnie Coleman. Since his retirement, Markus has focused on coaching and his own supplement line called “Rühl’s Bestes”.
