Jim Manion’s annual 2024 Pittsburgh Pro show did not disappoint; but that was only half of it, fans were also privileged to a star-studded guest posing lineup of the world’s best Men’s Open and Classic Physique competitors on stage.
It was a spectacular night and it provided the all-important sneak-peek look into how the 2024 Mr. Olympia competition might unfold. Reigning Olympia titleholder Derek Lunsford shined on stage, and many were quick to compare him to Nick Walker. ‘The Mutant’s’ presence at the Pittsburgh Pro was significant because it was the first time onlookers had seen him fully recovered from the hamstring and calf tear that prevented him from competing at the 2023 Olympia.
Attention also turned to the newfound size and fullness of Andrew Jacked and Hunter Labrada as well as the hamstring and back definition of Martin Fitzwater, who will face Walker at the 2024 New York Pro in five days. Alongside mass monster Samson Dauda, Classic Physique stars Urs Kalecinski and Ramon Queiroz also gave the audience something to talk about.
Open and Classic Physique Bodybuilding Guest Posers Light Up Pittsburgh
In addition to individual guest posing routines, Kalecinski, Queiroz, Walker, Lunsford, Labrada, Jacked, Dauda, and Fitzwater posed together in a group. Head judge Steve Weinberger even began to rearrange their positions on stage as if it were a legitimate contest, giving fans a look into some potential match-ups expected to take place at the 2024 Mr. Olympia 60th anniversary event.

Kalecinski and Queiroz gave the Pittsburgh event a taste of what Classic Physique had to offer. Queiroz recently fell short of Wesley Vissers at the 2024 Arnold Classic, with Kalecinski also taking third place. However, ‘The Miracle Bear’ has ignited discussions within the bodybuilding community after insisting that he’s ‘the one’ to defeat reigning five-time Classic Physique Olympia Chris Bumstead.
While many are quick to compare Walker’s physique with Lunsford’s, it is important to consider that ‘The Mutant’ plans to compete in just under a week at the 2024 New York Pro, where he will aim to earn $30,000 and his coveted Olympia qualification. As for Lunsford, he is amid his off-season prep for his potential title defense at the nearing Mr. Olympia competition.
There’s no denying that the guest posers in Pittsburgh shook things up, leaving many of us talking about how the next Mr. Olympia could end. The 2024 Mr. Olympia 60th anniversary will take place October 10-13 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
