Terrick El Guindy’s confidence in Samson Dauda’s potential as a future Mr. Olympia has soared. In a recent Olympia TV YouTube video, El Guindy explained why Samson Dauda is the most dangerous competitor in the IFBB Pro League. Further, he discussed how ‘The Nigerian Lion’ could capture the Sandow trophy with refined conditioning and an improved back.

“Congratulations to all the competitors! The shows are still going on. The excitement is on and the hunt for the 2024 Mr. Olympia is on,” said El Guindy about the bodybuilding season.

Samson Dauda‘s mass, muscle separation, posing mastery, and fullness largely separated him from his contemporaries. On top of those aforementioned strengths, Dauda boasts a shapely structure, standing at five-foot-eleven.

His ascension as an Open Pro has been swift. Under the guidance of coach Milos Sarcev, Dauda emerged on the radar of the very best when he placed sixth in his debut on the 2022 Mr. Olympia stage. Then, he overtook Nick Walker in Columbus, Ohio to claim his first Arnold Classic title in 2023. He carried that momentum into his sophomore Olympia event and walked away as the third-best bodybuilder in the world

While most athletes might shut it down after Olympia, Dauda stayed busy. He recently won the 2023 Romania Muscle Fest Pro against teammate Behrooz Tabani with plans to compete this weekend at the EVLS Prague Pro, where he’ll meet the defending champ, Michal Krizanek in a showdown. Given his activity levels and rate of improvement, El Guindy can’t deny Dauda is making all the right moves to dethrone Lunsford next October.

Judge Terrick El Guindy Says More Conditioning and Improved Back Is Samson Dauda’s Ticket to 2024 Mr. Olympia Gold

Reflecting on Dauda’s victory at the recent 2023 Romania Muscle Fest Pro, El Guindy, who served as a head judge, described the event as “historical” and “epic.”
“Hello athletes and fans of bodybuilding, Terrick El Guindy with the Mr. Olympia. I just came back from Romania where I had the honor of head judging the Romania Muscle Fest. Everything they say about it is true. It’s historical it’s epic and the energy at that event is unmatched. Congratulations to Samson Dauda.”
According to El Guindy, Dauda presented a tighter physique in Romania versus his look at the 2023 Mr. Olympia show. Although El Guindy labeled Dauda as the most dangerous man in the league, he implored the Open star to improve his conditioning and back detail if he hopes to overtake Hadi Choopan or Derek Lunsford in the future.
“I judged him at the Olympia and I judged him in Romania, and he was a little bit tighter. Samson Dauda is the most dangerous man in the IFBB Pro League because with that mass and those lines if he’s conditioned… and he gets a little bit more of a back — Samson Dauda is the guy to beat! He has all the potential to go after Derek Lunsford and Hadi Choopan,” shared Terrick El Guindy.
As one of only two of the taller men within the Open class’s top echelon (Andrew Jacked being the second), Dauda enjoys a unique advantage on stage, as we’ve seen how powerful structure and height can be considering the dominance of the reigning five-time Classic Physique kingpin Chris Bumstead

Shawn Ray, a 1990s bodybuilding standout and former Arnold Classic winner, joined Jay Cutler recently to give his thoughts on Dauda’s potential in the sport. Ray stressed that Dauda was ‘in control of his own fate’ and had the genetic capabilities to defeat Hadi Choopan and Derek Lunsford on any given night. Most notably, Ray underlined that if Dauda hopes to win the Mr. Olympia title, he’ll have to present a look with dry conditioning and more striations.

Should Dauda secure the victory at the Czech Republic’s 2023 EVLS Prague Pro and win his second Arnold Classic title in March, he’ll possess shocking momentum when he takes on Lunsford and Choopan for the 60th Olympia contest next October.
