Another sad news hits the bodybuilding community today as it’s been reported that Famous UK bodybuilder Tony Ellett has passed away. At the time of this writing, the cause of death has not been revealed. Ellett was a well-known bodybuilder in the United Kingdom, competing with NABBA throughout his career.
The news was announced on 22 December, 2021 on his Facebook account.
What can I say I’m absolutely heartbroken💔💔💔 on 22/12/21 @ 10:38 my heart stop and broke into a million pieces not just for me but for Curtis as well.
I will always treasure the memories we had together and I promise I will take good care of Curtis and we will never forget you. Sleep tight tone until we meet again.
Tony was a very likeable guy, which can be seen by a number of people mourning his death and leaving heart touching posts on Tony’s Official Facebook page.

Tony Ellett’s Bodybuilding Career
Tony’s first bodybuilding competition was back in 2009, where he placed 5th in the Tall division of NABBA England Championships. Tony’s last competition was the 2017 NABBA Mr. Britain Championship, where he placed 3rd. The biggest success that Tony managed to get was the win in the 2016 NABBA UK Championships.

- 2014 NABBA Mr Britain – 4th

- 2016 NABBA Mr Universe – 5th
- 2017 NABBA Mr Britain – 3rd

Even though the cause of death has not been revealed, there has been an increased amount of deaths related to the sport of bodybuilding, with the likes of Shawn Rhoden, George Peterson, and John Meadows, among many others.
