Bodybuilder Urs Kalecinski Shows Off 3891-Calorie Full Day of Eating 12 Weeks from 2024 Mr. Olympia

German bodybuilding standout Urs Kalecinski is ready to move up on the world’s biggest stage this October. In a recent YouTube video shared on July 24, 2024, ‘The Miracle Bear’ walked fans through a full day of eating as he prepares for the 2024 Mr. Olympia competition. 

Kalecinski is easily one of the most popular athletes in the IFBB Pro League, irrespective of category. As a Classic Physique Pro, he’s found remarkable success thanks to his symmetry, golden-era look, and shredded physique. Last year, Kalecinski secured third place at the 2023 Olympia show.

Just a week following the impressive performance in Orlando, Florida, Kalecinski bet on himself at the 2023 Texas State Pro which he won handily with one of his best looks to date.

He recently tested himself at the 2024 Arnold Classic Ohio show but fell to third place behind Ramon Queiroz and Wesley Vissers. In his Arnold Classic UK showing, he took bronze to Breon Ansley and Vissers. More determined than ever, he showcased a full day of eating as he prepares for the biggest event of the year just 12 weeks away. 

Meal One: Monster Mash

  • 250 Grams Egg Whites
  • 110 Grams of Oatmeal 
  • 15 Grams Psyllium Husk
  • 150 Grams Raspberries and Blueberries
  • Cinnamon  

Macros: 

  • Protein – 46 Grams
  • Carbohydrates – 94 Grams
  • Fats – 18 Grams
  • Calories – 735

When making his oatmeal, Kalecinski explains that it needs to be more watery to mix in his special ingredient.

“They have to be slightly runny, but only very slightly. They also swell up well but it also has to be fluid because there is an ingredient here that is very very cool, that not only has health benefits but also a great advantage for your diet, namely one of my game changers that psyllium husk are very high in fiber.”

Meal Two: Pre-Workout 

  • 120 Grams Rice Pudding 
  • 50 Grams Whey Isolate 
  • 1 Apple
  • Cinnamon 

Macros: 

  • Protein – 50 Grams 
  • Carbohydrates – 97 Grams
  • Fats – 4 Grams
  • Calories – 637

Kalecinski underscores the importance of carbohydrate intake for insulin sensitivity. 

“An apple of course my dear. I am very much over it. That’s why I often say, simply improve your carbohydrate intake right on and is good for insulin sensitivity.”

Meal Three: Post Workout 

  • 120 Grams Rice Pudding 
  • 51 Grams Whey Isolate
  • 1 Apple 
  • Cinnamon 

Macros: 

  • Protein – 50 Grams 
  • Carbohydrates – 97 Grams
  • Fats – 4 Grams
  • Calories – 637

For his post-workout meal, Urs Kalecinski mentions that he is once again having a green apple with rice pudding.

“Green apple, maybe the red ones will come next week. I’ll enjoy it here now and then we’ll have a little more taste at the restaurant” Kalecinski shared

Meal Four:

  •  130 Grams Chicken 
  • 300 Grams French Fries
  • 100 Grams Asparagus 
  • Tabasco 

Macros: 

  • Protein – 41 Grams
  • Carbohydrates – 65 Grams 
  • Fats – 1.6 Grams
  • Calories – 455

As predicted, Kalecinski shared how much he enjoyed going out to eat at a restaurant, specifically for the french fries. 

“I’m telling you, I love coming to the restaurant for that.”

Meal Five:

  •  130 Grams Chicken 
  • 350 Grams Rice 
  • 100 Grams Vegetables

Macros: 

  • Protein – 41.5 Grams
  • Carbohydrates – 105 Grams
  • Fats – 2.5 Grams
  • Calories – 631

‘The Miracle Bear’ drizzles his favorite hot sauce on his food, sharing that he tries to get his salts in especially on his heavy workout days. 

“There we have the good stuff (Hot sauce). Little bit all over. Like I said, I’m trying here to get as much salt as possible. Then on race days, during the sweaty workouts, you definitely need it.”

Meal Six:

  •  180 Grams Fish 
  • 250 Grams Potatoes 
  • 100 Grams Vegetables 

Macros: 

  • Protein – 43 Grams
  • Carbohydrates – 36 Grams
  • Fats – 3.3 Grams
  • Calories – 360

Urs Kalecinski has what he considers his ‘penultimate’ meal of the day. 

“We’re back in the hut and we’re having the penultimate meal for today. I’ve showered and chilled out a bit, put my feet up, as it should be.”

Meal Seven: 

  • 180 Grams Steak 
  • 2 Eggs 

Macros: 

  • Protein – 51 Grams
  • Carbohydrates – 1 Grams
  • Fats – 23 Grams
  • Calories – 436

Finishing off strong, Kalecinski enjoyed a high-quality steak even though red meat doesn’t make up a huge part of his diet. 

“This is currently my last meal and my loyal followers will know that there isn’t that much red meat, but the quality is incredibly good.”

The competition is stiff inside the Classic Physique category. With five-time titleholder Chris Bumstead showing no signs of relinquishing his reign, Urs Kalecinski will have his work cut out for him if he intends to move up the ranks this year. 

With talents including Welsey Vissers, Queiroz, and Breon Ansley in addition to the champ Cbum in the lineup, fans will not want to miss the epic showdown that will take place later this year.
