This year’s Women’s Physique Olympia contest is in the books. Following razor-close finals, Sarah Villegas claimed the crown following an action-packed show against former champ Natalia Abraham Coelho.
Much like last year’s event, it didn’t take long for Women’s Physique contenders to assert themselves as title contenders. Boasting some of the best conditioning and muscle dryness of any category, the judges were in for a difficult night
Heading into the weekend, all eyes were on Natalia Abraham Coelho who shocked the world against Villegas last year. However, after losing her status as champion, Villegas appeared to bring an even more refined package to prejudging.
During prejudging and finals, Sarah Villegas looked to have brought an all-time best package and brought up her abs since her last Olympia appearance. Her quality of muscle and presentation shined, especially during the finals, where she gave the champ all she could handle during the final posedown. Ultimately, the poise and condition of Sarah Villegas was too much for Coelho this year and she won back her coveted title!
