The 2024 Ms. Olympia finals have wrapped up in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday, October 11, which began at 6:00 p.m. inside the Resorts World venue. Andrea Shaw cemented her legacy with a major victory in Women’s Bodybuilding, extending her reign to five titles.
The Women’s Bodybuilding category remains one of the most unpredictable and exciting in the IFBB Pro League. It has witnessed several long-standing champions emerge over the years such as Cory Everson, Lenda Murray, and Iris Kyle. Andrea Shaw succeeded in winning her fourth title at the 2023 Ms. Olympia and was determined to replicate that success against her rival Angela Yeo.
In the finals of the 2024 Ms. Olympia, it was an absolute war between frontrunners Shaw and Yeo. They both improved from prejudging with Yeo bringing fullness whereas Shaw appeared to be more conditioned, especially from the back. After several comparisons and a crucial posedown, Andrea Shaw secured gold. Angela Yeo finished in second and Ashley Lynnette Jones took third.
