Samantha Eugenie, a young powerlifting prodigy from France, has already gained a reputation in the powerlifting community, despite only being 20 years old. Samantha has shared the professional stage with some of the biggest names in history of powerlifting, but that was never satisfactory enough for her. Instead, Samantha wants to beat everyone and become the best. Even though she is aware of how difficult this task is, she is still making great progress toward becoming the world’s best. In addition, Samantha recently progressed her deadlift and achieved a new 230-kilogram (507-pound) PR.

After a long and exhausting chase for this massive deadlift, Samantha Eugenie has finally managed to complete it and join the ‘500-pound deadlift club’. Seeing that she only utilized a lifting belt, her lift would be recognized as raw in a sanctioned competition. In addition, Samantha’s technique consisted of a sumo stance and a mixed grip, both of which are perfectly allowed in powerlifting.

“PR 230 KG ❤️‍🔥 omgggg so happy

I’m finally entering the 500lbs club (507)
And don’t tell me I’m forgetting to struggle anymore 🥵😂”

Samantha Eugenie’s raw deadlift PR before this was 225 kilograms (496 pounds), which she set just two weeks ago. So, it is obvious that she has added significant weight to her deadlifts in an extremely short period of time. The reason for this is Samantha’s jump in bodyweight. She usually competes in the 63-kilogram weight class, but she decided that it was time to move up to the 69-kilogram weight class. A 4,000-calorie diet helped Samantha reach 69 kilograms (152.1 pounds) of bodyweight and achieve new personal records.

Samantha Eugenie has not yet gotten a chance to compete in her new weight class, as her last appearance was in the 63-kilogram weight class just less than two months ago. Overall, Samantha has competed in 10 sanctioned competitions and won eight of them. Her most notable wins so far are the 2022 IPF World Junior Classic Powerlifting Championships and 2019 EPF European Classic Championships (Sub-Juniors).
