American bodybuilder Carlos Thomas Jr. is a fast-rising prospect who has gained a ton of attention for his impressive physique. In a recent Instagram post, Thomas Jr. showed off his beastly physique in a guest-posing appearance ahead of his highly anticipated Pro debut.
Carlos Thomas Jr. emerged as a promising talent after taking home the top prize in the super heavyweight division and overall at the 2021 NPC National Championships. His refined muscle mass, definition, and overall proportions garnered attention from the fans and earned him a Pro card.
Following the show, Thomas Jr. revealed he tipped the scales at 220 pounds for the competition. While his end goal is to make a splash in the Men’s Open division, he did not rule out the idea of starting his professional run in the Men’s 212 category, depending on how much he grows in the off-season
Thomas Jr. was set on making his way to the 2023 New York Pro two months ago. However, he was forced to withdraw from the show after suffering a major health issue with his ulcer colitis. In the end, Tonio Burton came out on top of the contest with Beef Stu (real name: Stuart Sutherland) behind him. In the aftermath, fans wondered if the outcome could have been different had Thomas Jr. been in the lineup.

The contest is set to feature several other competitors as well as experienced contenders in Hunter Labrada and rising sensation Andrew Jacked.
Carlos Thomas Jr. will look to present a major challenge to Labrada and Jacked. But it won’t be an easy task as Labrada is determined to redeem himself after an uneventful outing at the 2022 Mr. Olympia. Meanwhile, Jacked has been making waves in the community and will look to capitalize on the momentum after taking bronze at the 2023 Arnold Classic four months ago.
