The 2021 NPC National Championships took place from December 17-18th, 2021 in Orlando, Florida. Athletes hoping to earn the pro card with a win at the event competed in eight divisions with different breakdowns. The event presented the athletes with an opportunity to take a significant leap in their bodybuilding careers and fans the opportunity to spot future stars of the sport.

Competing in the super heavyweight division, Carlos Thomas Jr. won the super heavyweight and overall championship along with the IFBB pro card. Thomas received widespread appreciation for his impeccable physique, especially for the fullness and roundness of his limbs. All things suggest that Carlos Thomas Jr. could emerge as a force to reckon with in the professional bodybuilding circuit. However, considering his short stature, 212 could be a better starting point for him rather than the open division.

Tom Cox and Eric Ablelon won the Men’s Physique and Classic Physique championship, respectively. While Chelsea Dion won the Women’s Bodybuilding competition at the 2021 NPC National Championships, powerlifter-turned-bodybuilder Amanda Kohatsu earned the top spot in the open figure division. Kohatsu made her bodybuilding debut at the NPC Iron Games back in November 2021, winning women’s physique and open figure contests at the event.
