The 2024 Arnold Classic is rapidly approaching, prompting some big names in bodybuilding to take a closer look at the field of competitors. In a recent Bro Chat episode, Seth Feroce joined Fouad Abiad to offer his concrete predictions for the marquee event.
If this year’s gathering in Columbus, Ohio is anything like it was in 2023, fans are in for an epic showdown between some of the best bodybuilders in the world. Most notably, former Mr. Olympia Hadi Choopan threw his name into the hat. This will serve as the first AC competition of his decorated career. However, ‘The Persian Wolf’ will be tasked with facing the reigning and defending champion, Samson Dauda.
Pushing Choopan on the 2023 Olympia stage, Dauda walked away in third place but bounced back incredibly weeks later with golden performances at the Romania Muscle Fest Pro and the EVLS Prague Pro. Considering Dauda’s activity levels and his rate of improvement from show to show, taking his title will demand a calculated effort.
It should be noted that credentialed coach Chris Aceto has expressed concerns over Dauda due to how busy he has remained. While he is unsure if Dauda will suffer from ‘burnout’ on the 2024 Arnold Classic stage, he refused to dismiss the idea wholeheartedly.

But that’s not all. There’s a hungry crop of contenders swarming The Buckeye State, including Brazilian phenoms Marcello De Angelis and Rafael Brandao. Lying in wait is also UK’s James Hollingshead, who took the entire 2023 season off to cultivate mass for his big return.

The 2024 Arnold Classic lineup was dealt a considerable blow when Andrew Jacked recently decided it was best he remove himself from the Columbus show and the UK event. Despite that, fans still anticipate a fiery on-stage back and forth between the frontrunners.
Aside from Seth Feroce’s picks, former four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler also chimed in. He also believes Hadi Choopan will emerge victorious against Samson Dauda even though ‘The Nigerian Lion’ is the defending champ. Choopan, who is known for his consistent shredded conditioning, not only looks dry but bigger since his latest Olympia showing.
Unlike productions of the past, bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger announced that the livestream is free for all viewers. A $300,000 check will be awarded to the winner when the action unfolds from March 1-3 in Columbus, Ohio.
