The 2024 Tsunami Nutrition Showdown was one of six IFBB Pro League events taking place over the weekend (September 28, 2024 in Metz, France), featuring contenders from the Men’s Open, Classic Physique, and Bikini categories. This event served as a qualifying round for next year’s Mr. Olympia competition. Samson Dauda wins the Men’s Open title and secures an early qualification.
A week before this massive gathering, talks circulated around the sudden entrance of Samson Dauda, who certainly took a gamble considering he plans to compete at the 2024 Mr. Olympia contest in just a few weeks. He was by far the biggest frontrunner to take to the stage and his mass, stature, and conditioning levels delivered for fans in attendance.
Even though the qualification deadline for the 2024 Mr. Olympia has expired, that hasn’t prevented top-tier athletes from attempting to earn early tickets to the 2025 Mr. Olympia, which has yet to reveal its date, location, or venue. Last year, James Hollingshead took gold at this event but he decided not to compete, paving the way for a new titleholder to emerge. Dive into the show results below:
