Chinedu Andrew “Jacked” Obiekea has become one of the most talked-about bodybuilders after his 2026 Arnold Classic win. On March 8, during the Arnold Classic seminar, he discussed his ‘ultimate mindset’ and plan to dominate at the Arnold Classic UK.

“It’s done already. itineraries, everything is booked just waiting for me to just show up, and  I’ll be respectful – I wouldn’t say kick some ass, but I will show up, and just take it away, and that’s it.”

Jacked had real momentum before the 2026 Arnold Classic. He pushed into third place at the 2025 Mr. Olympia, but there were questions about whether he could beat Hadi Choopan onstage. Despite trailing Choopan by 16 points on the Olympia scorecards, Jacked didn’t let that stop him from presenting his best.

It turned out that Jacked’s biggest threat wasn’t “The Persian Wolf,” it was Nick Walker. “The Mutant” was out for redemption after mistiming his peak and falling to sixth place at the Olympia. While it was a close show, Jacked narrowly got his hand raised, securing the life-changing $750,000 champion’s purse. Aiming to win over $1 million in a single month, Jacked is focused on securing gold at the upcoming Arnold Classic UK.

“I don’t know, man. I’m still waiting for this thing to sink in. Honestly, this whole thing just came. It came at the right time and I just took it but I was never a fan. I was never even interested in competing. I think it’s just God’s time. It just came,” he said

He also explained how Walker played a role in his evolution as a Men’s Open bodybuilder:

“Nick is actually one of the people who pushed me to be here. Because I remember he told me he said that when I get my shit together, that I would be a dominant force. Ever since then, any time I’m onstage with Nick, he’s always filled with positivity. He gave me that push,” explained Jacked.

Jacked broke down his ‘ultimate mindset,’ adding that he’s never chasing another contender, only constant self-improvement.

“I think it’s different for individual perspectives. I’m never chasing a human. I’m chasing who I’m looking at in the mirror, and that’s me. That’s the ultimate mindset.

Because I don’t know what the other person is dealing with or how they’re doing their thing, but me, I have to face me and challenge me so that I can be able to surround myself with those guys whenever we stay onstage. That’s why the ultimate goal was just me.”

The 2026 Arnold Classic results have reshaped the Men’s Open landscape. Until now, Jacked or Walker had yet to best Choopan in a bodybuilding competition. That’s now changed, making predictions for the next Mr. Olympia more challenging.

Jacked appears to be reaching the prime of his career. The 2026 Arnold Classic UK is scheduled for March 27-29 in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
