Powerlifter Cailer Woolam aka “Dr. Deadlift” is no slouch when it comes to the deadlift. In fact, he holds the world record (431kg/950 lbs) in the 100kg/220lb class; a feat which he accomplished in April at the US Kern Open. Woolam is a well-known powerlifter and a legend when it comes to the deadlift (hence his nickname). And it’s simply incredible how he continues to break world records.
And Cailer Woolam actually pulled more weight then he ever has in training recently; which is very indicative of amazing things to come. And it definitely appeared as if he could have pulled even more weight than this training pr.
Check out his 937lb deadlift…
Woolam wrote the following on his Instagram post to accompany the video…
“425kg/937lbs for a nice single today. This is actually the most I’ve ever done in training! Still a lot to fix here”

If Cailer Woolam can make the necessary adjustments, then he’ll easily surpass his insane April performance which you can watch below…
Now, it’s one thing to pull this much weight during a training session. But when the pressure is really on for a potential world record lift in front of a large crowd, well… it’s a whole different beast out there! So, do we believe Cailer Woolam is capable of surpassing his previous record anytime soon?
By the looks of his recent training progress, absolutely! After all, he is an all-time world record holder who just seems to continue improving and it’s kind of his job to perform at maximum potential when it really matters. So, we hope to see some more amazing lifts from Dr. Deadlift very soon!
