Hype around the upcoming 2025 Toronto Pro Supershow has the bodybuilding community talking. On June 4, 2025, IFBB Pros Akim Williams and Iain Valliere revealed their top nine Men’s Open picks for the event.

The Toronto Pro will feature a highly anticipated rematch between frontrunners Regan Grimes and Sasan Heirati. The two traded blows in a close contest at the California State Pro, where Grimes triumphed with a perfect combination of size, conditioning, and aesthetics.

Despite stamping his ticket to the 2025 Mr. Olympia thanks to the big win, Grimes still wants to get some contest reps in before testing himself against the best in Vegas. Heirati, meanwhile, boasts drier conditioning than Grimes, which could play into his favor when they square off again. The Toronto Pro will also see newly turned IFBB Pro Eric Janicki in the mix, whose mass and huge lower body could set the table for a massive upset.

Time is running out to qualify for the Mr. Olympia. There are finite opportunities for Men’s Open contenders wishing to secure their passage to the prestigious event. Competitors have until September 14, 2025. The Toronto Pro serves as another chance for athletes who’ve yet to earn their entries.

  • Second Place — Regan Grimes
  • Third Place — Eric Janicki
  • Fourth Place — Andrea Muzi
  • Fifth Place — Hussein Kalato
  • Sixth Place — Eirin Gauley

Iain Valliere

  • First Place — Regan Grimes
  • Second Place — Sasan Heirati
  • Third Place — Hussein Kalato
  • Fourth Place — Andrea Muzi
  • Fifth Place — Felix Norman
  • Sixth Place — Eirin Gauley
  • Seventh Place — Eric Janicki
  • Eighth Place — Skylar Schumn

Akim Williams, who has already qualified for Olympia, likes what Sasan Heirati brings to the table. He believes he has the tools to get past Grimes in their next encounter. In contrast, Iain Valliere predicted that Grimes would run off with the victory, which would make him 2-0 against Heirati.
