Australian actor Chris Hemsworth is making sure his fitness is top-notch heading into summer. On April 30, 2025, he showed off his toned physique while getting in some boxing cardio on the heavy bag. 

Hemsworth is one of the most respected and accomplished action actors in Hollywood. He’s maintained an extreme level of athleticism throughout the years and is constantly focused on bettering his health and wellness. This helps him stay ready for any roles he might take on year-round. Regardless of the location (even when he’s in the wild of Kenya, Africa) or fighting a severe case of jet lag, Hemsworth makes sure to get a pump in. 

He’s best known for playing Thor in the mega-popular franchise. His busy acting schedule demands most of his time, so he’s gone to great lengths to ensure he can work out anywhere, and most importantly, in a time-efficient manner. Hemsworth often shares snippets of his intense training sessions, like his recent upper body routine that only requires 20 minutes of his time.

He also collaborates with other influencers, like James Donaldson, well-known as Mr. Beast, a prominent YouTuber. Throughout the full-body session, they paid close attention to the calories they burned, which ended up totaling 200 within an hour.

In a recent Instagram post, Chris Hemsworth boasted impressive hand-eye coordination during his latest heavy bag boxing drill.

Boxing training has long been an endurance staple in Hemsworth’s fitness routine. In 2023, he gave fans an inside look at how he trains for on-screen combat, where he hit mitts and focused on his footwork, strength, and mobility.
