Derek Lunsford and Hunter Labrada haven’t missed a step since the conclusion of 2023 Olympia. The bodybuilder duo made guest posing appearances recently and looked incredibly shredded and stage ready, to say the least.

Newly crowned Mr. Olympia Derek Lunsford created history when he walked away with the Sandows trophy at the 2023 Olympia. A lifelong 212 division competitor, the 30-year-old became the divisional Olympia champion in 2021. He showed tremendous promise after making the switch to the Men’s Open division, securing runner-up finish at the 2022 Olympia.

The years 2022 and 2023 witnessed the toughest line-ups of competitors in recent history of the Men’s Open division. However, Lunsford effortlessly pushed aside the hurdles to become the 2023 Mr. Olympia. With the historic win, he became the only competitor in the history of Olympia to win the title in two separate weight classes.

Massive size was perceived to be the most important criteria in the Men’s Open division. Former 212 competitors Derek Lunsford and Hadi Choopan‘s absolute domination in the last two Olympia shows has challenged this notion in a big way.

Top Men’s Open contender Hunter Labrada also made a guest posing appearance at an event. Labrada surged into the top five at the 2021 Olympia with a fourth place finish. The Labrada Scion looked primed to take over the division in the years to come. However, he fell off the cliff in a major way and slipped to seventh place at the 2022 Olympia.

The 31-year-old vowed to come back stronger and won the 2023 Tampa Pro to kick off the competitive season. He then went on to finish second at the 2023 Texas Pro. The Tampa Pro win earned Labrada a direct qualification to the 2023 Olympia where he held his own, achieving a sixth-place finish.
