The highly anticipated 2024 Pittsburgh Pro guest-posing spectacle is almost here. In a recent Instagram post, Derek Lunsford shared a physique update upon his return to the United States after spending time in Germany. This update comes just weeks before the event in Pittsburgh, happening on May 10-11.
Jim Manion’s Pittsburgh Pro is a prestigious event that, for years, has set the tone for the upcoming bodybuilding season. In 2022, Derek Lunsford guest posed at the Pittsburgh Pro when he was looking to move up from 212 to the Men’s Open. After stealing the show in Pittsburgh, Lunsford went on to take second place to Hadi Choopan on the Mr. Olympia stage.

Derek Lunsford just finished spending some time in Germany to attend the FIBO official event and upon his return to the United States, shared a physique update where he looks absolutely jacked just weeks away from taking the stage.

Ready to crank it up another notch.
@npcifbbpropittsburgh is just a few weeks away” Derek Lunsford wrote.
Joining Derek Lunsford at this year’s 2024 Pittsburg Pro guest-posing event will be five more of Men’s Open’s top competitors, including Nick Walker, Samson Dauda, Andrew Jacked, Hunter Labrada, and Mamdouh ‘Big Ramy’ Elssbiay who is making his return to the stage after taking time off.
While Derek Lunsford may have claimed the throne at last year’s Mr. Olympia, Hadi Choopan is determined to avenge the defeat. Choopan began this bodybuilding season strong after earning back-to-back wins at the Arnold Classic Ohio and UK. Hadi Choopan has made it clear that he is doing everything possible to be named the champion once again.
Fans of the sport can look forward to seeing some of Men’s Open’s best take the stage guest posing at the 2024 Pittsburgh Pro on May 10-11. However, this is just the beginning of what is shaping up to be an epic face-off for the Men’s Open division at the 2024 Mr. Olympia this October 10-13 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
