The shot clock to qualify for the Mr. Olympia is on, and competitors are determined to make their mark onstage. In a Bro Chat Podcast aired on July 22, 2025, retired bodybuilding veterans Iain Valliere and Seth Feroce offered their top 10 picks for the Tampa Pro.

All roads lead to the biggest show of the year — the 2025 Mr. Olympia, which is set for October 9-12 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The qualification period began on September 16, 2024, and runs until September 14, 2025, giving athletes ample opportunity to secure their spot on the world’s most celebrated stage.

In 2024, Samson Dauda dethroned Derek Lunsford to win his maiden Olympia title. In addition to earning the Sandow and a commemorative ring, he also secured a $600,000 cash prize, the highest payout a Mr. Olympia champ has ever seen.

Though Dauda stands tall as the best in the world, he’ll have to defend the crown in just a few months. Competitors from around the globe continue to earn their entries, with the latest chance coming in Tampa, when contenders gather from July 31 to August 2 in The Sunshine State.

Seth Feroce

  • Winner — Bruno Oliveira Santos
  • Second Place — Jonathan Delarosa
  • Third Place — Joseph Palacios
  • Fourth Place — Emir Omeragic
  • Fifth Place — Justin Shier
  • Sixth Place — Patrick Moore
  • Seventh Place — Quinton Eriya
  • Eighth Place — Stuart Sutherland
  • Ninth Place — Justin Savoie
  • Tenth Place — Morgan MacDonald

Valliere named defending champion Jonathan Delarosa as his favorite. Delarosa is coming off an impressive season. Last year, he clinched gold at the Tampa Pro event and followed that up with an impressive Mr. Olympia performance, which saw him carve out a spot in 12th place.

In contrast, Feroce argued Delarosa would struggle to defend his title. He noted that the density of Brazilian star Bruno Oliveira could give the lineup trouble, especially if he nails his peak perfectly.
