Jeremy Buendia is ready to make his big comeback at the 2023 Mr. Olympia after a long hiatus. In a recent YouTube video, Buendia shared his crazy carb-packed re-feed day of eating just four weeks out from competing on bodybuilding’s biggest stage.
This year, former four-time Men’s Physique Olympia Jeremy Buendia will once again grace the big Olympia stage. While the popular contender attempted to earn back the honor of champion in 2018, he failed to surpass former Men’s Physique Olympia Brandon Hendrickson on the scorecards.
With time to watch the division evolve in his absence, Buendia announced his official comeback plans late last year. Although if he hopes to win back Olympia gold, he will have to get past Hendrickson again and the current reigning champion Erin Banks. Judging by Jeremy’s physique updates, he certainly stands a chance.
Last year, Banks and Buendia ignited a rivalry between each other in an appearance for Olympia TV. The feud has turned personal with Buendia hoping to get the better of Banks next month when they finally meet at 2023 Olympia. As of late, Jeremy Buendia showed off the high-carb full day of eating that’s fueling his comeback.

“I’m out here to do my best. This year’s journey is a lot different than previous Olympias. Before, I was used to being the champ, used to being the top dog going into shows. With mystery surrounding his return, fans are curious if Buendia will have the size, conditioning, and back detail to hang with Banks, who has enjoyed tremendous success in the sport in Buendia’s absence. On top of winning the Men’s Physique Olympia title last year, Banks also nabbed the Arnold Classic title.
There are only four weeks until the ultra-exciting 2023 Olympia competition occurs. This year’s annual event will take place from November 2-5 in Orlando, Florida and fans are thrilled to see if Buendia can achieve history.
