Jordan Hutchinson is eight weeks from his Olympia debut. In a recent YouTube video on August 14, 2025, he discussed the Men’s Open lineup, then assessed matchups against Nick Walker and Andrew Jacked.

“100% realistic goal is top 10,” adds Hutchinson. “I’m gunning for everybody, for sure.”

Hutchinson used his last offseason to grow into a 300-pound bodybuilder. Heading into this year, he went under the radar until a pair of breakout performances. Hutchinson secured gold at the 2025 Tampa Pro and leveraged that momentum to earn the Texas Pro title.

Olympia-qualified, questions about how he’ll stack up against the best are brewing. With names like reigning Mr. Olympia Samson Dauda, Hadi Choopan, Derek Lunsford, and Nick Walker in the mix, Hutchinson isn’t downplaying the challenge ahead.

Jordan Hutchinson Sets Sights on Top 10 at Olympia 2025, Discusses Matchups: “I’m Gunning for Everybody’

In the video, Hutchinson emphasized that he plans to squeeze in the top 10:

“I want to be in the top 10, or if it sounds unreasonable to somebody, whatever, two pro show wins back to back probably sounded unreasonable to people as well, and I did that, and I proved myself. I want to squeeze into the top 10.”

He does acknowledge that he has the tools to take eighth place, but said that it will depend on who nails their peak and who doesn’t.

“I think I have the tools to bump up to maybe an eighth spot. The top four is obviously pretty set in stone, well nothing is set in stone at the Olympia.

Anybody can come in off; anything can happen. We saw Martin go crazy and grab a fourth spot last year. I think I have a lot of tools that Martin does, but it’s a matter of who comes in off and who comes in off, and those question marks are always there.”

Looking at potential matchups, Hutchinson argued he could defeat Behrooz Tabani.

“Behrooz, I think, would be a great matchup for me because I think we have similar physiques. I don’t know what he’s going to look like next to me size-wise, but in a lineup, I think I would really do well with him, especially quad-wise; I think my quads would be dominant there. Yeah, [I can beat him]. I don’t think it would be an easy thing.”

He also pointed out that he would likely get past Sasan Heirati, Tonio Burton, and Regan Grimes. As for Nick Walker, Hutchinson admits “The Mutant” is too overpowering.

“Sas is my boy, but I think I would overpower him and Tonio size-wise,” he said. “Regan’s got a crazy back but it’s a big question mark of coming in hard enough to beat me. I think I would edge him.”

“No [I wouldn’t beat Nick Walker]. Nick is just so overpowering, as far as the size goes, I think he’s still solidified up there, and I think he’s going to be hard to beat.”

However, he argued that his conditioning could help him take out Andrew Jacked

“Andrew is also a question mark,” explains Hutchinson. “A guy like me who comes in hard as nails, and I have better side leg shots, I have better glutes and hamstrings, hard all over. As much as his structure and everything and overwhelming size is amazing, I think he just can easily slip if he comes in off and I’m not going to come in off.”

“I think it’s possible for me with him and the next few guys. I think it’s possible. I’m not saying it’s probable. I definitely would like to see me against him now because I only saw him against me when I was 15 pounds lighter.”

The bodybuilding community is getting behind Hutchinson. Four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler opened up about his potential. He believes Hutchinson will be a threat to the top four at the 2026 Mr. Olympia if he manages to improve his back.

Hutchinson has a huge opportunity ahead in less than two months. The 2025 Mr. Olympia is set for October 9-12 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
