Marisa Inda is a World champion and multiple-time National champion powerlifter who achieved an IPF/USAPL all-time world record performance at the 2017 Arnold Grand Prix with a 430kg/948lb total @52kg/114lbs. Most recently, she set an American deadlift record by pulling 190kgs/419lbs in the 52kg category, at the 2019 USA Powerlifting Raw Nationals.
Inda has established herself as a powerlifting legend due to her accomplishments and at age 43, she isn’t slowing down, even with the current situation we’re facing. She recently posted a video of her deadlifting 147.5kg/325lbs for 10 reps beltless, which was a new pr for her.
But she has been able to do that because she has a full, home gym setup where she trains regularly anyway.
This is what she wrote on Instagram to accompany her deadlift pr clip…
“I May hate these lower days due to sheer amount of volume, but I don’t mind the PRs they produce-147.5kg/325lbs x10 beltless PR. Moved that fatigue rating all the way up to 5 after this so I had 1 less backdown set-zero shame.”
