Michal Križo Križánek has just won yet another bodybuilding competition, the 2021 Elite Pro Mr. Universe Pro, which took place on Saturday, October 2, in Marbella, Spain. The show also features several other divisions including Bikini, Body, Wellness, and Men’s Physique.
The Slovakian Open competitor also recently took first place at the Arnold Classic Europe Elite Pro Show (fourth straight), with an incredible package. He even got the attention of the great Flex Wheeler who commented “Wow” under an Instagram post that showed a clip of his posing routine.

With so much hype and attention behind him, we truly do hope to see Michal make the switch over and compete in the IFBB Pro league because it would make things even more exciting. He certainly has the goods though.

Event History
The 2021 Mr. Universe Pro marks the return of this competition that was first launched in 1975 (Bob Birdsong won the inaugural contest) and was organized until 1981.
Note: This event should not be confused with the prestigious NABBA Mr. Universe contest, but rather an event of the Elite Pro League.
But that shouldn’t take anything away from Micahel’s impressive win.
If you’re not as familiar with the IFBB Elite Pro League, we included the following description of what the league aims to achieve.
“A new era for the worldwide professional bodybuilding and fitness athletes, in a complete new pro concept, with upgraded and improved structure and offering more opportunities to the IFBB Amateur athletes wishing to become IFBB Elite Professionals.
A real worldwide Pro organization, to be joined by athletes from all the countries without restriction, with transparency and straight forward rules and a fair judging system.”

Will Michal Krizo Join The IFBB Pro League?
Michal Križo Križánek is hot right now in the IFBB Elite Pro league with an impressive resume of many recent and dominant wins. But we’re eager to see if he decides to compete against who the IFBB Pro league competitors would call the “big boys”.
While he’s been called out, he’s also done the calling out and there’d be some awesome drama (in good fun, of course) between him and the top guys but can he bring it to the big stage? We think so!
But we’ll see.
All of the athletes who competed over the weekend at the 2021 Mr. Universe Pro also deserve to be acknowledged for their efforts.
