Samir Bannout, the former 1983 Mr. Olympia winner, likes what heās seeing from bodybuilder Nick Walker. On April 27, 2025, Bannout commented on Walkerās latest photoshoot and said he has one of the freakiest back double biceps poses heās ever seen.Ā
āVery impressive. Who can match that double biceps Front n Back !!? Lots of quality beef ā

Nick Walker is on a hunt for redemption this year.Ā He bowed out of the 2023 Olympia after sustaining calf and hamstring injuries. Nevertheless, he returned successfully against Martin Fitzwater at the New York Pro. But when it was time to push for the Mr. Olympia again, Walker was unable to make it, sharing that his body wouldnāt respond to the rigors of preparation.
With a new training program and head coach, Walkerās laid out ambitious plans for 2025. It all starts with the upcoming 2025 Pittsburgh Pro show, which is set to host the Menās Open class for the first time. The event is packed with star power.Ā Derek Lunsfordās in the mix, as well as notable frontrunners including Michal āKrizoā Krizanek, Fitzwater, William Bonac, and surging threat Ugolnikov āGood Vitoā Vitalii.
Samir Bannout, Former 1983 Mr. Olympia, Has High Praise for Nick Walkerās āFreakyā Back Double Biceps PoseĀ
After witnessing Walkerās Mutant-Worthy back double biceps, Bannout shared that itās one of the freakiest heās seen in all his years following the sport.Ā
āThis is one of the freakiest back double biceps I have seen⦠his back comes with great arms unlike those who think their back is great and they have spaghetti fucking arms!!ā shared Samir Bannout.Ā

Walker isnāt the only top-tier bodybuilder whoās gained attention for an impressive back double biceps pose. Former two-division Olympia titleholder Derek Lunsfordās has also received major hype. Some think he has the best back double in the league. Even bodybuilding coach Milos Sarcev admitted that he believes Lunsfordās could be possibly the best in the sportās history. Ā
As Bannout notes, a solid back double is more than just having a huge back. Arm size plays a critical role in how the pose is perceived by fans and judges, and without it, the shot doesnāt produce as much impact onstage. After missing out on the last two Mr. Olympias, Walker hopes this strength will carry him to gold when he battles against the best at the 2025 Pittsburgh Pro, set to take place from May 10-11.Ā
