2021 African Weightlifting Championships
The 2021 African Weightlifting Championships began on 24 May 2021, with 67 lifters in 19 classes. Gold went to Jean Elariont Ricardo Ramiarimanana (55 kg, 220 kg), Amine Bouhijbha (61 kg, 256 kg), Tojonirina Andriantsitohaina (67 kg, 303 kg), Karem Ben Hnia (73 kg, 330 kg), Ramzi Bahloul (81 kg, 306 kg), Faris Touairi (89 kg, 335 kg), Ahmed Abuzriba (96 kg, 336 kg), Denis Joel Essama Owona (102 kg, 346 kg), Aymen Bacha (109 kg, 370 kg) and Walid Bidani (+109 kg, 416 kg) for the men, and Rosina Randafiarison (45 kg, 135 kg), Stella Kingsley (49 kg, 166 kg), Adijat Olarinoye (55 kg, 200 kg), Rafiatu Lawal (59 kg, 201 kg), Joy Ogbonne Eze (64 kg, 198 kg), Yousra Abidi (71 kg, 193 kg), Jeanne Gaëlle Eyenga Mbo'ossi (76 kg, 213 kg), Bouchra Hirech (81 kg, 186 kg) and Clémentine Meukeugni Noumbissi (87 kg, 221 kg) for the women.
