2023 Pan-American Youth Weightlifting Championships
The 2023 Pan-American Youth Weightlifting Championships began on 28 July 2023, with 62 lifters in 20 classes. Gold went to Fredy Andres Bustillo Orozco (49 kg, 187 kg), Yilver Esteban Grijalba Sarria (55 kg, 216 kg), Dionangel David Vargas Campos (61 kg, 228 kg), Gabriel Mendez (67 kg, 256 kg), Juan Alexander Marin Mercado (73 kg, 260 kg), Mauricio Osvaldo Loaiza Medina (81 kg, 288 kg), Jesus Enrique Boutto Nunez (89 kg, 280 kg), Cesar Luna (96 kg, 275 kg), Joaquin Eluney Mesa (102 kg, 327 kg) and Luis Alberto Espinosa (+102 kg, 276 kg) for the men, and Roimary Gabriela Brito Rangel (40 kg, 121 kg), Lawren Sofia Estrada Velez (45 kg, 143 kg), Naudisbel Fiorela Rodriguez Herrera (49 kg, 152 kg), Andrea Sak Nik-Te Uitzil Chuc (55 kg, 166 kg), Yilihannys Griselina Jimenez Carreno (59 kg, 180 kg), Ingrid Segura (64 kg, 215 kg), Keily Carolina Silva Fernandez (71 kg, 205 kg), Maricela Segura Solis (76 kg, 189 kg), Melany Montes Mokay (81 kg, 187 kg) and Valentina Belen Rojas Rojas (+81 kg, 183 kg) for the women.
