We’re just around the corner from the start of the big events which will be taking place in Bradenton, Florida from June 13th-16th. There will be 25 athletes competing and several events which the competitors will battle through.

There’s a lot of great competition this year and unlike the previous year’s each athlete will participate in every event. 2019 will be a true test of strength and endurance for top Strongman competitors but the question is will Hafthor Bjornsson repeat?

He’s been on a roll lately but Marius Kieliskowski isn’t taking this competition lightly placing second last year, and Brian Shaw isn’t giving up that easily either placing third last year. But we won’t know until the competition gets underway and it could be one of the most exciting WSM events so far with the big names competing.

Now, there have been a few changes regarding the events as the deadlift, overhead press, and squat lift will now be done for a maximum number of reps, rather than a max lift. And what was named the truck pull previously is now going to be the Monster truck pull.

So, it’ll be interesting to see how the athletes fare with these changes…
