The 2020 Romania Muscle Fest Pro took place in Bucharest over the weekend which saw top-level competitors from nine divisions battle it out for a spot at the 2021 Olympia.
This competition season has been much different than previous years because of the Covid-19 pandemic which caused all shows to be postponed for the first part of 2020. But many competitions have resumed including the 2020 Olympia qualifiers that concluded last month. And now we eagerly await the massive event that will take place this December.
But in the meantime, a different group of competitors are duking it out in an effort to punch their ticket to next year’s Olympia. Many athletes showed up to the Romania Muscle Fest Pro-Am including well-known top Open competitor Lionel Beyeke who’s had his fair share of obstacles that caused him to have to sit out in 2019.
Women’s bodybuilding was also a part of the events as it was last year too and with the announcement that Ms. Olympia is returning this year, well, it just gives us something else to look forward to as well.
But we’re just hoping for a great rest of the year and next season without the unfortunate events that have affected a large number of people in general.
