2020 Mr. Olympia: Complete List Of Qualified Athletes Sees Record Highs!

Last weekend saw the final competition for bodybuilders to qualify for the 2020 Mr. Olympia. With that out of the way, we now have the final list of athletes who have qualified for the show, and it is quite a doozy.

Given the restraints on competition due to the global pandemic, there was concern that there would not be enough events to get a strong list of athletes for the 2020 Mr. Olympia. However Olympia President Dan Solomon took to Instagram after last weekend’s Chicago Pro to share some crazy news. Not only are there a lot of big name athletes attending the show, but this year will actually see more qualified athletes than ever before!

“When I first planned on making this announcement, I did not realize it was going to be a historic announcement, and as it turns out this one is historic,” Solomon said. “Because this year, despite a lot of concerns surrounding whether or not we would be able to qualify enough athletes for the event, as it turns out we have qualified more athletes for this year’s Olympia than any Olympia in the history of the competition. There are 227 qualified athletes for this year’s 2020 Mr. Olympia.”

This is obviously a massive deal, given the circumstances of the competition. Dan goes on to explain that the majority of these contestants come from the Bikini Division, but that it also includes the highly anticipated return of the Ms. Olympia contest. So with that in mind, here is the full list of qualified athletes for the 2020 Mr. Olympia.
