The 2023 Mr. Olympia event is underway and athletes from the Bikini division met for prejudging on Saturday, November 4 inside the Orange County Convention Center at 2:00 p.m.
Over the last few years, the Bikini category has soared in popularity. With the title of Ms. Bikini Olympia switching hands often, there were many contenders to keep an eye on heading into the marquee show. Atop the throne is Maureen Blanquisco who took the championship from Jennifer Dorie at the 2022 Olympia contest.
However, with Lauralie Chapados picking up her second Bikini International title at the 2023 Arnold Classic, she came into this event with credible momentum. Also, former three-time Bikini Olympia Ashley Kaltwasser was in attendance aiming to make history.
Contenders from the Bikini category asserted themselves as contenders among a roster of over 45 competitors on Saturday. Prejudging saw the fullness, balance, and symmetry of former champion Jennifer Dorie dominate early. However, the reigning champ Maureen Blanquisco and Kaltwasser also received huge pops from the crowd.
The last call-out saw Maureen Blanquisco center stage, next to Jennifer Dorie and Ashley Kaltwasser. All women looked at their all-time best. It’s anyone’s title heading into the finals later tonight!
