The bodybuilding season is heating up in the West with the 2023 Musclecontest California Night of Champions Pro taking place in San Diego, California. This show is a 2023 Olympia qualifier and hosted competitors from the Bikini division.
This year, athletes have until October 9 to earn an invitation to the world’s biggest bodybuilding event of the year: Mr. Olympia, which is slated for the first weekend of November. From November 2-5, athletes from around the world will battle to see who brought the best physiques of their respective divisions.
As it stands, the top three Bikini Olympia finishers from 2022 are automatically invited back this year to compete again. Maureen Blanquisco is the current reigning and defending champion. Therefore, the winner of this show will have a chance to challenge her in Orlando, Florida later this year. Fans have circled a few names ahead of the show such as Ruth Montes, Carlee Stevenson, and Savannah Watchman as frontrunners.
