2026 Classic Physique Olympia Prejudging Report

The 2026 Joe Weider’s Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend has taken over Las Vegas from September 24-27. Competitors from the Classic Physique division pushed each other during prejudging, which began at 9:30 am (PDT) on September 25 inside the Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall. 

Since Chris Bumstead’s retirement, Brazilian powerhouse Ramon ‘Dino’ Queiroz has become the face of the division. In 2025, he defeated Mike Sommerfeld by just one point on the scorecards. While there’s been calls to see him switch to the Men’s Open, Dino has wants five titles before leaving Classic Physique behind. 

If he wants to become a two-time champion, he has to get through a wave of contenders, including fan-favorite Mike Sommerfeld and Terrence Ruffin, a former two-time Arnold Classic winner. During prejudging, Ramon Dino showcased dramatic improvements to his back thickness and width, giving him stronger rear shots against Sommerfeld. 

‘Mike the Badass’ looked fuller than last year and slowed down his posing transitions to show off his muscle striations. Terrence Ruffin brought a strong look, and the judges took notice. Niall Darwen also shocked the crowd by taking center stage, and Wesley Vissers brought a fuller package compared to his last showing.  It’s anyone’s title heading into the finals!
