Tonio Burton won the Men’s Open at the 2026 Pharlabs Mexico Pro in Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit, on October 4, defending his title a week after he placed fifth at the 2026 Mr. Olympia. Terrence Ruffin won Classic Physique, Esteban Fuquene took the 212 and Patti Hanson won Women’s Bodybuilding for her first pro title; Burton, Fuquene and Hanson all qualified for the 2027 Olympia.
Men’s Open
Burton beat a lineup of six for his third win of 2026, after winning the New York Pro and the Legion Sports Fest Pro, both in May. Fifth at the Olympia improved on his eighth places there in 2023 and 2025. Lewis Breed of the United Kingdom placed second, his best result of the year, and Carlos Andres Burbano Arevalo of Ecuador was third on his pro debut.
Classic Physique
Ruffin won from a lineup of nine in his first show since placing fifth at the Classic Physique Olympia, a year after he finished third there. The two-time Arnold Classic champion was the Olympia runner-up in 2020 and 2021. Junior Javorski of Brazil was second, his third runner-up finish of 2026, and Julian Frontino of Argentina took third for his first pro podium.
212
Fuquene of Colombia topped a lineup of five a week after placing 11th at the 212 Olympia. It was his second win of 2026, after the Chicago Pro in July. Juan Aleman of Mexico finished second, as he did at this show in 2025; he won the Lenda Murray ATL Pro Supershow in August. Heriberto Pacheco of Mexico was third on his pro debut.
Women’s Bodybuilding
Hanson won from a lineup of seven for her first pro title, after third places at the Triple O Dynasty Pro in April and the Lenda Murray ATL Pro Supershow in August. Mariana Guayara Murcia of Colombia placed second in her first Women’s Bodybuilding show after two starts in Women’s Physique. Barbara De Freitas Moojen of Brazil, who beat Hanson at the Triple O Dynasty Pro and placed ninth at the Ms. Olympia, finished third.
Men’s Physique
Erin Banks, the 2022 Men’s Physique Olympia champion, won from a lineup of 15 and defended the title he won here in 2025. It was his second win in less than a month, after the Dominican Republic Pro on September 13, and he placed fourth at the Men’s Physique Olympia in between. Alexander Toplyn was second, his fifth straight top-four finish since the Tournament of Champions Pro on September 5, and Ismael Martinez Dominguez of Mexico, the runner-up here in 2025, took third.
Figure

She was second at this show in 2025. Ana Dimas of Mexico placed second for her first pro podium, and Larissa Franco Bueno of Brazil was third.
Bikini
Reyna Perez won Bikini at home from a lineup of 11 for her third win of 2026, after the Legion Sports Fest Pro in May and the Toronto Pro Supershow in June. She placed 16th at the Bikini Olympia. Roxana Marquez, who won the Dominican Republic Pro on September 13, was second, and Graciela Abigail Castro Luna completed an all-Mexican podium.

What It Means for the 2027 Olympia
Burton, Fuquene and Hanson qualify by winning here: in the Men’s Open, 212 and Women’s Bodybuilding, a win at a pro show earns a place at the next Olympia. Reyes Padilla, Abraham Coelho and Alcantara were already in, as top-three finishers at the 2026 Olympia. Banks now has two open wins in the 2027 qualifying season, the Dominican Republic Pro and this one, which qualifies under the two-win rule, but the IFBB still listed him on 32 points on October 5. Classic Physique and Bikini run on points, and the top 20 qualify when the period closes: Perez opens on 10 points, and Ruffin adds 10 to the points he earned for fifth at the Olympia. Our 2027 Olympia qualified athletes list tracks who is in and who is close.
