Blessing Awodibu and Nick Walker have had a long-lasting rivalry, though much of the beef was smashed after the 2021 New York Pro. Despite going back and forth on social media, the two rivals have turned into training partners, and they look to be on friendly terms too.
Rivalries can sometimes serve bodybuilders incredibly, and push each man to highs they have struggled to reach in the past. Conversely, rivalries can also turn dark, and end up hurting the two bodybuilders feuding more than it ever helps either of them.
Nick Walker & Blessing Awodibu Squash The Beef
Nick Walker managed to secure 1st place at the 2021 NY Pro, while Blessing Awodibu came in 6th place. Ever since the contest, Nick Walker has been a busy man. Walker took the honor of 1st place at the 2021 Arnold Classic and also turned in a 5th place appearance at Mr. Olympia. Following the social media heat, the two met up and practiced a couple of poses.

Even with the back and forth the pair took part in leading up to 2021 New York Pro, they still repaired the friendship. While a cordial rivalry may still persist, the two are training partners now and the tone of their relationship has changed without a doubt.

A collaboration between Nick Walker and Blessing Awodibu seemed unlikely at one point. But now with the pair of bodybuilders practicing posing, perhaps the friendly rivalry will only bolster their growth in the training room. With the accolades that Nick Walker has picked up in the last few years, surely his influence on a promising prospect like Blessing Awodibu will be impactful when it’s time to compete.
