2023 Olympia Bodybuilding Prejudging Report

The 59th 2023 Joe Weider’s Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend invaded Orlando, Florida where fans and the live audience witnessed mass monsters from the Men’s Open division wage war for gold. The sport’s greatest title was on the line and competitors delivered during prejudging on Friday at 10 p.m.

It was an interesting night in Orlando Florida as Men’s Open contenders got to work quickly. Immediately, the striated glutes, wide back, and freaky fullness of Derek Lunsford was a showstopper, especially his thick lat spread, as noted by Phil Heath.

Samson Dauda also shined during the prejudging rounds with massive back improvements. Complete with width and detail, he brought a new and improved look to Florida on Friday. Meanwhile, Brandon Curry, whose spot on the stage was in jeopardy due to an issue with ulcers, brought thicker quads and a sculpted back.

The crowd was in awe when Hadi Choopan walked out with a front relaxed pose. With round shoulders and a striated chest, Choopan looked fresh and big. From vacuums to crab most musculars, the champ left it all on the stage during his first night as a Mr. Olympia champion. In the last call-out, Hadi Choopan, Derek Lunsford, and Samson Dauda battled. Each man got a chance to stand center stage, which left fans unsure of what’s to come.
