Having made a statement during his brief tenure as an IFBB Pro, Rubiel ‘Neckzilla’ Mosquera has become one of the most talked-about names of the 2023 season. In a recent appearance on The Menace Podcast, Chris Cormier and Dexter Jackson broke down how Mosquera would fare in a future battle against top Open class star Nick Walker.
Similar to the attributes displayed by ‘The Mutant,’ Mosquera brings a freak factor complete with a massive lower body. Switching to the NPC from the IFBB Elite Pro League, Mosquera made his mark on the EVLS Prague Pro Amateur a few weeks ago. Not only would he secure his Pro card, but he finished third a day later against Michal Krizanek and Samson Dauda at the 2023 EVLS Prague Pro.
Mosquera’s entry into the new league was met with celebration, as coach Chris Cormier assured fans that the hype around the Colombian native was justified. Already, ‘The Real Deal’ has compared Mosquera’s legs to that of the former two-time Mr. Olympia titleholder, Mamdouh ‘Big Ramy’ Elssbiay. Now, Dexter Jackson and Chris Cormier are pinpointing which poses ‘Neckzilla’ would win in a battle against Walker.
Chris Cormier, Dexter Jackson Says Rubiel Mosquera Has Better Poses Than Nick Walker & Samson Dauda
In Jackson’s opinion, Mosquera could defeat Dauda in the side shots and could best Walker on the front lat spread.

“Oh side triceps, for sure [Rubiel beats Samson Dauda]. The side shots, when he turns to the side, dude’s stomach is flat,” said Jackson. “That dude’s stomach is so flat from the side for a big guy like that. It’s flatter than Samson’s bro.”
“Milos, he don’t even do insulin,” said Cormier. “He don’t even do insulin.”
Supporting his point, Jackson said he could see less of Mosquera’s stomach during the side triceps pose compared to Dauda.
“Milos, from the side, when they do side triceps and stuff like that, his stomach is flatter than Samson’s brother.”
“Like Dexter said, this guy is new, he’s new to the game. He doesn’t know what to do,” added Dennis James. “He’s still learning. I think if Chris gets him to a point where he understands that when you twist, there’s certain things that make you look even better, then he’s going to get even more dangerous.
Now if they get his conditioning in check… I’ll tell you this, I saw him close up and I saw the side triceps, I saw the side chest, the side chest, it’s fucking ridiculous. This dude has got muscle everywhere. This dude reminds me of Ronnie Coleman.”
Cormier believes Mosquera boasts a more complete front lat spread.
“No one has that aura right now Milos. Like, Walker, let’s say if Nick Walker did a lat spread, his lat spread is going to be bigger than him in the front. Turn around to the back, I think Walker’s lat spread would be better because his lats sit lower. But from the front he’s going to beat Nick Walker in that front lat spread.”
“The side shots… all he needs is density. He needs his body to be dense. But I’m telling you now, I’m going to dedicate myself to make this kid have a fast track to the top. That’s what I’m going to do,” said Chris Cormier.
Given Mosquera’s promise and size, Jackson underlined that he could become something special in the future.
“Listen Milos, we’re not taking nothing from your guy [Samson Dauda]. All I’m saying, this guy just turned Pro and competed in a show the next day? He was rumbling with these dudes bro.
Look at Samson, his Pro debut, and look at his guy. Look at anybody’s Pro debut and look at this guy,” said Dexter Jackson.
“Just think what this guy could be,” shared Jackson.
Jackson, Cormier, & Sarcev Discuss Strengths and Weaknesses of Rubiel Mosquera
Jackson believes Mosquera has bigger legs than bodybuilding veteran Victor Richards. As for weaknesses, Milos Sarcev pointed out Mosquera’s lack of V-taper, wide waist, and narrow shoulders.
“They’re bigger than Victor Richards’ [legs],” said Dexter Jackson about Rubiel Mosquera.
“For now, he is too straight up and down, narrow shoulders and wide waist which if he doesn’t pay attention to and present this on the stage standing in a lineup that you can catch on many Instagram videos just standing there, so you can see there is no V-taper to him whatsoever,” said Milos Sarcev.
According to ‘The Blade,’ ‘Neckzilla’ has V-taper, especially when he hits the front double biceps pose, adding that his “waist sucks right in.”
“He’s got a V-taper, he definitely has a V-taper when poses. When he’s standing there, no. But when he’s doing a front double biceps, that waist sucks right in. His legs are so big it looks like he’s got a V-taper.”
This wasn’t Chris Cormier’s first update regarding the future and potential of Rubiel Mosquera. He recently took a closer look at the budding bodybuilder after the conclusion of the EVLS Prague Pro. Cormier called ‘Neckzilla’ a rottweiler of the Open and said he carried a shocking level of size that’s never been seen before.
Despite having just stepped foot in the new league, Rubiel Mosquera continues to receive comparisons to high-level talent. With Chris Cormier guiding his career, fans expect ‘Neckzilla’ to lead a tenure full of shocking highlights.
