Joe Weider’s 2025 Fitness and Performance Olympia Weekend is officially underway from Oct. 9–12 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Contenders from Men’s 212 Bodybuilding battled at prejudging on Oct. 10 at 9:30 a.m. PDT inside the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Men’s 212 Bodybuilding is essentially a downsized version of the Men’s Open—that means conditioning, mass, and balanced proportions are still king. Flex Lewis has been the most dominant 212 Olympia champion, having won seven consecutive titles (2012–2018).
Fast forward to today, and Keone Pearson‘s grasp on the 212 crown has only tightened. He took the honor from Shaun Clarida in 2023 and defended the title successfully in 2024. Bodybuilders believe he’s ready right now for the Men’s Open, but “The Prodigy’s” sole focus has been achieving a dynasty.
In the final callout, Shaun Clarida pushed Keone Pearson with his usual granite hardness. His front double biceps shot was one of his strongest. However, Pearson looked massive from all angles, and his quads popped throughout comparisons. In addition, Nihat Kaya and Lucas Garcia brought impressive packages. Time will tell if Pearson can pull off another title defense in the finals!
