Dubai’s Famous Binous Gym Burns to the Ground in Early Morning Fire, Andrew Jacked Reveals No One Was Injured

The fire is believed to have started from an electrical fault inside a warehouse connected to the gym.

The world-famous Binous Gym in Dubai has tragically burned to the ground. On April 14, 2026, Chinedu Andrew “Jacked” Obiekea reacted to the news and confirmed that no one was injured during the accident. 

Details are still being gathered to determine the cause of the raging fire. Sources from Beyond the Stage TV indicate that it may have started from an electrical fault. Firefighters in Dubai were quick to tackle the blaze, with authorities sharing that it began in a warehouse connected to the gym

“The fire was brought under control, with no injuries reported,” Dubai Civil Defence said. 

Over the years, Binous Gym has become a hotspot for bodybuilders from around the world.  Andrew Jacked, the reigning 2026 Arnold Classic Ohio and UK champ, has trained at Binous since 2019. The location has been essential to his steady growth as a Men’s Open competitor.

“That place isn’t just a gym, it’s home, it’s family,” he said in a post on Instagram that attracted hundreds of likes in hours,” he said. “It’s home, it’s family, it’s where thousands of stories were built with sweat, discipline and heart.” 

Jacked gave an update on the violent fire and reassured his fans that the gym would return better than ever. 

“Sad sad day but we will Bounce back even much much more stronger and better #BelieveThat. Binous has been my home starting this day December 9th 2019 until presently early hours this morning April 14th 2026 was engulfed by fire🔥 burnt completely to the ground, spoke to Anis my brother he’s doing good, friends and staffs they’re all good, not a single flesh was affected which is good Alhamdulilah. In Arnold voice “WE’LL BE BACK” Yesszziirrr !!!” Andrew Jacked shared

Beyond the Stage TV shared how impactful the Binous Gym has become in the Middle East. 

“Tragedy in Dubai as one of the world’s most popular gyms, Binous Gym, has burnt down & left for ashes! No further information has been released but early sources are linking it to an electrical fault.

Will have more information soon. It’s understood that nobody was hurt but details are in short supply currently.

Binous Gym was loved by many all over the world for their love & support for bodybuilding. They are known not just for the state of the art equipment but also the treatment of members who succeed in bodybuilding which includes financial bonuses for winning shows,” the statement read

It will be interesting to see whether this accident hurts Jacked’s preparations. Looking ahead, “The Mona Lisa of Bodybuilding” is currently gearing up for the 2026 Mr. Olympia, scheduled for September 24-27 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
