World's Ultimate Strongman 2019 Results

It’s no surprise elite Strongman competitor Mateusz Kieliszkowski was able to outperform the competition in the second-ever World’s Ultimate Strongman competition; which took place in Dubai on October 25.

Last year’s World’s Ultimate Strongman champion Hafthor Bjornsson and the 2019 World’s Strongest man winner Martins Licis did not compete in Dubai. And this no doubt left the top spot wide open for the remaining top athletes.

But the 26-year-old from Poland has been a big name to watch out for, while deemed the future of Strongman competition. And this is a big win for Mateusz Kieliskowski considering he competed with a torn bicep and a $75,000 prize doesn’t hurt either. Luke Stoltman finished as the runner-up with his brother Tom coming in third, followed by Brian Shaw in fourth.

And Rauno Heinla who won the 2019 World’s Ultimate Deadlift competition with a 450kg pull, rounded out the top 5.

Kieliszkowski was the runner-up at the 2018 World’s Strongest Man contest and he’s a three-time Poland’s Strongest Man champion. But at just 26 years old and with so much potential, we’re definitely going to see big things from him as he continues to improve.

And winning with a torn bicep is also pretty darn impressive.

Athletes participated in the following events a day after the max deadlift took place…

  • 30 Meter Vehicle Pull
  • Head to Head Log Press for Reps
  • 15 Meter Yoke Run and WUS Shield Carry
  • The Longest Atlas Stone Run in Strongman History

And one very notable performance of the competition came from Tom Stoltman, who had a world-record performance in the Atlas Stone event; lifting ten stones (100 to 200 kilos) in 40.7 seconds.

The 2019 World’s Ultimate Strongman competition was quite the spectacle with all of the big competition which took place in Dubai. And so far, two great champions have emerged in the competition’s two-year history. But we’ll definitely be looking forward to next year’s event.

Congratulations to Mateusz Kieliskowski for his big victory, and we have a feeling there will be lots of great things to come for Strongman competition in the very near future.
