Classic Physique is one of the most exciting divisions in the sport and the field of competitors will take to the Arnold Classic stage this weekend. Following months of preparation, athletes will present their best package on stage vying for one of the most coveted titles in bodybuilding.

The 2022 Arnold Classic features four of the top five finishers at 2021 Mr. Olympia. Reigning three-time Classic Physique Olympia champ, Chris Bumstead will not compete at the 2022 Arnold Classic. 2018 Arnold Classic winner Breon Ansley and the reigning and defending 2021 champ, Terrence “Diesel” Ruffin will square off and most fans are acknowledging this lineup as one of the most competitive of the weekend. Newer bodybuilders like Ramon Rocha Querioz and Germany’s Urs Kalecinski have made waves during prep, and both are expected to bring next-level conditioning to the show.

With consistent physique updates, Ramon Rocha Querioz has proven to fans all season that he has the firepower and determination to act as the ultimate disruptor at the Arnold this year. His conditioned and aesthetic physique is the epitome of Classic Physique and could easily sway the judges during call outs. Conversely, Urs Kalecinski has kept his progress relatively quiet as he went into ‘shadow mode’ while preparing for the big show.

Urs showed off his physique recently, and with added mass to his arms and biceps, “The Miracle Bear” could also play spoiler to top names like Ansley and Ruffin depending on what kind of conditioning they bring into the show. Prize money has increased from $6,000 to $60,000 which has only added extra excitement to the 2022 Arnold Classic.

The last call out saw Breon Ansley, Terrence Ruffin, Ramon Rocha Querioz and Urs Kalecinski take the stage. Queiroz stood next to Ruffin, which could potentially mean Kalecinski and Ansley are fighting for third place. Since there was no movement in the last call out, fans are excited to see who takes home the grand prize.
