He earned his pro card by winning his weight class at the 2016 NPC USA Championships, reached the Mr. Olympia stage two years later, stepped away from the sport, and came back in 2025 for a final run. He died in August 2026 at the age of 40.

Known for
The 2018 Mr. Olympia, where he placed tenth in the 212 division. It was his only appearance at the show. His one professional victory had come the year before, at the 2017 Phoenix Pro.
Early career
He came up through the NPC. He was runner-up in his weight class at the 2014 USA Championships and won the same class in 2016, the result that made him a professional. The Phoenix Pro win followed in 2017, the Olympia in 2018, and a fourth place at that year's Legion Sports Fest Pro. He finished eighth at the 2019 New York Pro, then stopped competing and retired in 2020.

Death
Quamina died in August 2026 at the age of 40. News of his death spread on 16 August. No cause has been made public.
He had been on stage eight days earlier. His final contest was the Lenda Murray Atlanta Pro Supershow on 8 August 2026, where he placed sixth, and competitors who had stood beside him backstage that weekend were among the first to write about his death. Fitness Volt's report collects the tributes.
Legacy
The comeback is the part of the record that stands out. Quamina returned in 2025 after five years away and placed third at the Chicago Pro, his best finish at a professional show since winning the Phoenix Pro in 2017. He took fourth at the Atlanta Pro later that season and sixth at the same show in 2026. He was still placing in the top six at 40, and still competing the week he died.
