When the 2019 Mr. Olympia was approaching, Curry was widely considered to be the favorite to win. A new champion was going to be crowned, and all appearances were that Curry was bringing a complete package to the stage. In the end, it was his impressive size and symmetry that earned him the title of Mr. Olympia.
However, it became clear almost immediately that Brandon Curry was going to use this platform for positivity. In a video uploaded to Instagram, he decided to bring his trophy to his son’s football practice. Subsequently, he delivered an inspirational speech to the children gathered around him, urging them to work hard.
Moreover, Curry explains that working hard to achieve your goals is not easy. He pointed to the fact that when he first entered the Olympia in 2016 he earned the last place. However, he did not give up and managed to work hard and come back to win the competition.
