Eddie Hall has built a name for himself in Strongman but has developed a passion toward combat sports in recent years. In turn, he has been in contact with numerous prominent figures in the community, but recently met up with one of the most impressive fighters in history. Namely, Eddie Hall visited Rico Verhoeven, the current kickboxing (Glory) World Champion. So, during their training session, Rico hit Eddie with a leg kick, completely sweeping the former Strongman off his feet.
Eddie Hall decided to spend an entire day with Rico Verhoeven, which included eating the same food and performing multiple training sessions together. However, since the Dutch kickboxer was in an active preparation camp for his next fight, Eddie was in for a difficult day. Although he managed to endure all the challenges that Rico placed in front of him, Eddie still wanted to see what it felt like to get hit by one of the most powerful leg kicks in the world.
Rico Verhoeven started off light, hitting Eddie with just a fraction of what he was capable of. Nevertheless, Hall told him to increase the power of his kicks and soon asked for a full-power leg kick. Well, Verhoeven gave him just that, hitting Eddie so hard that he dropped to the floor, holding his leg and trying to push through the pain. Despite being in pain, Eddie got back up with the help from Rico but had a significant limp for a few minutes.

He first battled the 2018 World’s Strongest Man, Hafthor Bjornsson, in a boxing match, which he ended up losing via the judges decision. However, as of recently, Eddie moved over to MMA and already had an interesting match. Namely, he battled two men at once and ended up winning the match after displaying a brutal knockout.
While waiting for the confirmation of his match against Mariusz Pudzianowski, Eddie Hall has decided to go against the 4x WSM Brian Shaw in arm wrestling. The two titans will go head-to-head as a part of King of The Table 13, which will take place on December 14th in Atlantic City.
