Eddie Hall has heard the challenge from Hafthor Bjornsson, for the loser of their boxing match to get a tattoo. He has accepted this bet, but is unhappy with Thor for turning down his offer.
The last few weeks have been interesting in the saga of the boxing match between Bjornsson and Hall. It started with Eddie making a challenge for the loser of their fight to pay $100,000 to charity, but he then upped the offer when Thor did not reply. Thor then countered by saying both men can pay the new $200,000 amount, regardless of winning or losing, and Eddie was okay with that, but still wanted the loser to suffer, so he asked for the loser to pay a million dollars, on top of the other amount.
Bjornsson was not interested in this $1 million challenge, saying that it was irresponsible, so he offered a different challenge: the loser has to get a tattoo of the winner’s name on their body. Following this challenge, Eddie took to his YouTube to accept this offer.
“My training partner showed me Thor’s video about getting the tattoo for the loser of the fight. Well Thor, I don’t need to think things over mate, as I say, I think from the heart so I speak from the heart. So straight away, I’ll say yes to that, the loser has to get a tattoo of World’s Strongest Man, and the opposing name. Let’s tick that off. $200,000 each for charity regardless, let’s tick that off, that’s a goer,” Hall said.

Eddie Hall Roasts Hafthor Bjornsson
This was not the end of the message from Eddie Hall to Hafthor Bjornsson. In fact, he continued on and decided to fire some shots at his rival for turning down the offer for the loser having to pa $1 million to charity.
He says that he does not really understand why Thor said it would be irresponsible to take the offer, saying that instead Bjornsson is just not confident in his ability to win the fight. He then says that the offer is still on the table if Thor wants it.
“Thor, the million dollars to charity, why won’t you say yes it it? You say it’s irresponsible, but we both know what we’re getting for this fight. It’s not irresponsible at all. Thor, I just think speaks volumes to your confidence more than anything. End of the day, if you’re that confident, you say you’re going to knock me out in the fourth round with an uppercut, you said that on your last video, so the offer’s still on the table,” Hall said.
“One million dollars to charity. It speaks volumes to your confidence. You can say you’re not bothered, and you can say this is the last time you’re going to speak on it, but I’m offering you a million dollars to the winner’s charity. If you don’t take that, I think it speaks volumes about your confidence.
Everybody watching this video can see what a s—t house you are. So Thor, the offers on the table, if you don’t take it, then you’re a s—t house, and that means you’re not confident. I am confident, and I’m winning the fight. I’m going to get $10,000 off Larry Wheels, I’m giving $200,000 to charity, and you’re getting a tattoo that says World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall on your ass.”
Now that they have finally agreed to some sort of wager, the only thing left is for Eddie Hall and Hafthor Bjornsson to actually fight. The expectation is that they will throw down at the beginning of the year, perhaps in March, so it will be exciting to see.
